Most tempo traveller quotes in Delhi read fine — until the trip ends.
The rate per km sounds reasonable. Then the invoice adds a night halt charge nobody mentioned, a toll total that’s oddly round, and a driver allowance that changed from what was quoted on the phone. It’s not that operators are dishonest — most simply don’t itemise until you ask twice.
We send the full breakup — per-km rate, driver batta, toll and state tax estimate, and the minimum running km — as a message before you confirm. If the final bill doesn’t match what we sent, you don’t pay the difference.

Outstation trips carry a minimum running of 250 km per day. Toll, state entry tax, parking and 5% GST apply on top of the fare and are shown separately on your quote — never folded silently into the per-km number. Night halt, where applicable, is billed once for the full night rather than per hour.
Where people actually take these tempo travellers
Six routes cover most of what leaves Delhi NCR by tempo traveller each month. Each one below has its own driving realities worth knowing before you book.
Delhi → Agra
A same-day round trip works for the Taj, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri if you leave by 6 AM.
Delhi → Jaipur (Golden Triangle)
Often paired with Agra as a 3-day loop; 12 or 16 seaters cover this comfortably.
Delhi → Manali / Shimla
Best split across two days; Urbania and Maharaja variants handle the hill climb noticeably better.
Delhi → Haridwar / Rishikesh
A common pilgrimage and weekend-yoga run, often extended onward to Char Dham in season.
Delhi → Amritsar (Punjab)
Golden Temple visits usually mean an overnight halt built into the itinerary.
Delhi → Nainital / Mussoorie
Weekend hill-station favourites; book early for the May–June and October rush.

What groups say after the drop-off, not just the booking call
“Booked a 16 seater for a Rishikesh trip with my office. The driver had actually done that hill road before — made a real difference on the return leg at night.”
“What sold me was getting the toll and driver charge written down before I paid the advance. Final bill matched exactly, first time that’s happened for us.”
“Used a 26 seater for baraat pickup across three hotels in Noida. Coordination between the drivers was better than I expected for a wedding day.”
Pickup anywhere across the NCR belt
Our vehicles are based out of Delhi and stage across the belt daily, so a Noida or Gurgaon pickup doesn’t mean a long dead-run charge added to your fare.
Frequently asked questions
Most outstation bookings run on a 250 km per day minimum, charged even if you travel less. It’s an industry-standard rule, not specific to us, and it’s shown on your quote before confirmation.
No. Toll, state entry tax, parking and GST are billed separately from the per-km fare, and we send an estimate for your specific route so there’s no guessing at settlement time.
Outstation trips typically run ₹24–₹26 per km for a 12 seater, plus driver allowance of ₹500–₹600 a day. Local half-day and full-day packages are priced separately — see the pricing table above.
Yes, one-way drops are available for airport transfers and single-direction trips, usually priced with a slightly higher per-km rate to account for the empty return run.
Urbania is a monocoque-body vehicle with a smoother ride, ABS and EBD, and higher ground clearance — noticeably better on hill routes. Standard tempo travellers are more budget-friendly for flat, shorter routes.
Yes — for hill routes we assign drivers with a logged history on that specific stretch rather than general highway drivers, and mention this when you book.
AC typically isn’t run while climbing steep gradients or when the vehicle is stationary in hill areas, to protect the engine — this is standard across the industry and we flag it upfront for Himachal, Uttarakhand and Kashmir routes.
For November to February wedding dates, 3–4 weeks’ notice is safer, especially for 20 and 26 seaters. Last-minute bookings are still possible but with fewer vehicle options.
A valid commercial driving licence, the vehicle’s RC and permit, and current insurance and pollution certificates — all checked before the vehicle is dispatched.
Yes, within reason — added stops or a changed return date are usually accommodated with a revised fare, communicated before you’re billed for the change.
A night halt charge applies when the vehicle is held overnight at your destination rather than driven back — this is a flat amount, not billed per hour.
Yes, GST-compliant invoices are issued for corporate and business bookings, along with monthly consolidated billing on request.
The advance amount is refundable if cancelled more than 48 hours before pickup; closer to the date, a partial deduction applies since the vehicle is already blocked for you.
Yes, a live location link is shared at the start of the journey so you or your family can follow the route without calling the driver directly.
Child seats can be arranged on request for family trips — mention this when booking so it’s fitted before pickup.
A 20 seater comfortably fits the group with luggage; if guests are carrying heavier bags, a 26 seater gives more room without needing a second vehicle.
Vehicles are staged across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad daily, so pickup from any of these doesn’t add a long dead-mileage charge.
Yes, half-day and full-day local packages cover Delhi sightseeing with waiting time at each stop built into the price, rather than billed extra.
Char Dham routes are quoted separately from standard outstation fares due to the terrain and multi-day driving — get in touch for a route-specific breakdown before the yatra season fills up.
Rates can move slightly during festival weekends or summer holiday peaks due to demand, but any change is communicated at the quote stage, not added after the trip.
Yes, front-row seats can be reserved for accompanying staff, and a seating chart can be shared in advance for larger school groups.
